A number of issues make these just ok.
First, I sized up 1/2 as recommended. That suggestion worked perfectly for the left shoe while making the right shoe loose and floppy. The insole is so high that the arch support area is only 1/2 inch from the top of the inside of the shoe. This makes walking right out of these rather easy requiring the use of socks for the extra friction they bring. The goring is to weak to help this issue.
Inconsistant size, weak goring, sides to short, wear like sandles barefoot.... flop flop flop.
Good idea, poor execution.
