Our staple slip-ons are the pair you’ll wear on repeat. We suggest leaving by the door for easy access. They’re built to mold to your feet and crafted to last in pull-up or pebbled leathers. We sew each shoe by hand in traditional moccasin construction for superior comfort and durability. Uppers are finished with rust-resistant lacquered eyelets, rawhide laces and our full lace that adjusts for a secure fit. Our wedged camp Vibram® rubber outsoles provide enhanced traction on wet or dry surfaces.
*Please keep in mind some upper materials may be worn beyond repair. What you receive back is a pair of shoes that you can wear for years to come. (Environmentally friendly and obviously costs less than buying a new pair).

I love my Quoddy canoe shoes from 2018 so I was excited to get another pair. Unfortunately, the half size difference means my heel slips in the new pair. But with a thicker pair of socks, it's not an issue. I'll stick to my guns next time and keep them the initial size...:)
A very good looking moc. A lot of competitors look about as good, but the color and styling of Quoddy's offering is arguably the best. Fit out of the box is pretty solid and I'm sure it'll be even better as I wear it more. With my particular pair, there are a few things I noticed and it may be nit-picky, but I figured I would mention them. Craftsmanship is good overall with the exception of some excess thread on the bottom of both outsoles, which I assume is where they had to tie the loose end of the stitching. I was able to trim it, so not a huge deal. For one shoe, it seems like they took a shortcut on the stitching and didn't stitch within the lines, but it doesn't have any real effect on the shoe. The lid of the shoebox (not the shipping box; the shipping box is fine) can't close all the way, which I found odd. I wasn't expecting anything extravagant, but for an expensive made to order shoe, the box seems like an afterthought.
Soft but supportive and, of course, with the perfect custom fit. I love them.
