Having previously purchased a custom made to order pair of Canoe shoes in all brown several years ago and am still wearing them almost daily (many years of life left in them) around the house and yard, I decided to get something else but slightly different. For the record, when I leave the property I wear Danner Fort Lewis boots ($$$$) and have been since 1976. I'm on my 15th pair of them. Creature of habbit? Guilty as charged.
This time I went with an all black pair of the Mens Grizzly Moc shoes.
I am super impressed by these. Zero break in time. Perfect fit and supurb workmanship. I examined these closely looking for anything out of place and found nothing. That's rare for me as I can usually find something out of place on just about anything. Kudos to whoever made these.
This is my first pair of (almost) 'true' moccasins and I love them. I have already mentioned the quality but the feature that stands out the most for me is the all leather soles. Amazing feel and comfort ... right out of the box. Almost like wearing socks. I can't imagine that it gets any better than this.
Will I be wearing these in the yard? Nope. I'm sure I could if I chose to but I will be treating these like slippers. These will never be worn anyplace but in the house or out on one of the decks. If I have to go into the yard, I will switch bach to the Canoe shoes.
It should be obvious by now that I really like these and can recommend these without any hesitation.
A little pricey? Maybe. Quality…
