I've been wearing this shoe through a long set of trips through multiple climates. At first I was worried about break in, but the leather relaxed and now it fits like a glove. I've walked almost 100 miles in them; I'd buy another pair.
This my 13th pair of Quoddy shoes. All fantastic.
I am on my 5th pair of Quoddy’s with these shoes. With the Vibram sole and the heavier leather, these seem more substantial. My fit journey has been 13, 12, 12.5W, 13, and now 13. The 12.5W is the 3 eyelet boat shoe I wear the most but the 13 works for the sale shoes and I am very happy with these. Thanks to the great Muffy Aldrich for her blog that introduced me to the brand. Glad that I have finally figured it out.

Decent quality shoe. Looks good, solid construction. Not worth full price. The negatives so far are that there is no arch support. The insole is flat so I needed to get a 3/4 size insole. Not really a surprise because most shoes have inadequate contouring inside. Quoddy is similar to other manufacturers who think human feet are as flat as the floor. I was also surprised that the tread pattern is very shallow at 2mm. That will wear flat in no time. I agree with other reviewers who say order 1/2 size larger than usual.
