Buyer Beware: Bait & Switch

Buyer beware that the product pictured online is not the one you will receive! As a 20+ year quoddy customer, the pair just delivered is vastly inferior to the shoe pictured online as it now use a visibly cheaper construction. Not only is it disappointing that Quoddy has lowered its quality standards (they held out for so long!) but to receive a shoe that is different than the one pictured online - followed by outright refusal by Quoddy to correct this - is a sad day and as makes my last purchase from Quoddy.

Very Nice Moc

I was actually shopping for a black USA made camp moc & came upon Quoddy. At first I was hesitant about a brown moccasin, but upon receiving them, I'm actually glad about the color. It's more of a dark cocoa shade than just a plain "brown" They fit great & they're also really sharp looking !

Heretofore unknown option

Over the years, I have had the misfortune of seeing the quality decline in other makers shoes. Perhaps margins and price points trump value for some folks, but I am very pleased with the fit and construction of these shoes from a source that I had no idea existed. Thank you internet!

Canoe shoe.

These shoes are great. They may feel a bit snug at first, but then they break in and fit like a glove. I love buying American brands, and these are at a great price point. Cough cough a certain brand from Wisconsin can be hit or miss and another brand from Massachusetts is great, but 2.5x more expensive and don't offer a canoe shoe.
